Discounts—Beyond the Expected

• Multi- Car
  • Two or more passenger autos owned by you or owned by two persons in the same household may qualify for a discount.
• Auto/Home
  • Save on your homeowners premium and auto premium when you insure both with Pekin insurance.
• Loss Free
  • No accidents for a period of 3 years or more may qualify for a discount.
• 45- Plus
  • A principal driver who is 45 years or older may be eligible for a discount.
• Low Mileage
  • If you drive annually less than 7,500 miles, you may be eligible for a discount.
• Good Student
  • Driver under age 25 with a GPA of 3.0 or better may qualify for a discount.
• Hybrid Auto
  • Vehicle using more than one energy source to power it may qualify for a discount.

Personal Auto Discounts

Below is a list of money-saving discounts available on your Pekin Insurance Auto Policy. Those discounts with a check mark next to them have been included in your proposal. Please refer to your proposal for all details.

• Good Student - A discount will be applied to vehicles driven by youthful operators who are full-time high school or college students who have a grade equivalent of “b” or better.
• Multi-Car - A discount will be applied to any policies which insure two or more vehicles owned by the same individual or owned by two or more persons residing in the same household and insured by us.
• Auto-Home - A discount will be applied to your auto policy if we insure your home or tenant policy as well. A discount will also be applied if you own a home that is insured elsewhere.
• Anti-Theft Devices - Autos may be eligible for a discount on comprehensive coverage if they are equipped with certain types of anti-theft devices.
• Hybrid Vehicle Discount - A discount will be applied to hybrid vehicles. A hybrid is defined as a mode of transportation using more than one energy source to power it.
• Defensive Driving Course - A discount is available to autos driven by insureds age 60 or older who have successfully completed a national safety council. Defensive driving course or a course that meets or exceeds that national safety council defensive driving course standards. (Not available In Indiana or Wisconsin)
• Paid- In- Full Discount - A discount applies to the policy if the premium is paid in full prior to the due date.
• Electronic Funds Transfer Discount - A discount applies when the policy premium payment is set up on a recurring electronic fund transfer (EFT) payment.
• Advanced Issue Discount - A discount is applied if your policy is submitted for issuance 8 days or more prior to the effective date.
