Meet Our Agents

Born and raised in Shelbyville, IN, Cheryl Thompson began working for American States Insurance Company in Indianapolis after high school. From there, she went on to Indianapolis and Greenfield based insurance agencies where she became a licensed agent. In 1980, Cheryl moved to Missouri and then Michigan working for Daniel Construction in the start-up of nuclear power plants. In 1982, Cheryl moved to Dallas, Texas and worked there before moving back to Brazil to be closer to family and re-entered the insurance field as a licensed agent. Cheryl and her husband Jim have been married for 16 years and together have 7 grandchildren.
